Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environmentRefined verbal and written communication skillsMinimum of one-year previous front office supervisory experience preferredAbility to work a flexible scheduleEnsure hotels standards and expectations are accomplished on a daily basisGreet and escorts VIP's and ensures that the staff is aware of the VIP guest requirementsSupervise Guest Services, Front Office, Bell Staff, Door Staff, Mail Desk and Package Room staffOversee lobby, upholding guest service standards from the point of entry to guest room.Motivate team to carefully problem solve, empathize with customer needs, and develop new skillsEnsure hotels standards and expectations are accomplished on a daily basisSupervise Guest Services, Front Office, Bell Staff, Door Staff, Mail Desk, PBX and Package Room staffOversee lobby, upholding guest service standards from the point of entry to guest room.Motivate team to carefully problem solve, empathize with customer needs, and develop new skillsCoordinate Front Office activities with Guest Relations and other departmentsEffectively communicate information between shifts including special requestsInteract with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Sales, regarding day-to-day room inventory needsControl daily rooms availability, special events, and general informationDevelop and implements "plan of action" for day-to-day operationsSupervise check-in and check-outSupport Supervisors with daily group activityMonitor and implement operating proceduresResponsible for maintaining department standardsEnsure that staff members follow set procedures and standardsAbility to train and monitor performance of staffAbility to hire, train, develop, and motivate employees.Troubleshoot in a diplomatic mannerPrioritize guest issuesMaintain enthusiastic and warm attitude in all circumstancesStand and walk for long period of timeQUALIFICATIONS:ESSENTIAL:1 year management experience in: Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations or a satisfactory combination of education and experience that provides for the skills necessary for this positionDESIRABLE:Degree in Hotel ManagementAnnual Salary Range: $70,000 - $78,000PDN-9c0bbdbc-d341-4a8d-8534-c47a7e8dab8b
