The Role Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Gas Midstream Manager will be part of the Marketing and Midstream Leadership Team and will be responsible for the planning and overall direction of the Companys gas strategy including: domestics gas and NGLs marketing, gas midstream commitments to enable reliable offtake for production, and oversight of LNG marketing from E.G.. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of third:party markets, established relationships at senior levels, and in:depth understanding of complex long term midstream. Job Responsibilities: :Provide leadership and commercial direction to the Gas Midstream Team to deliver reliable offtake solutions at the highest net value. :Build a high:performance team and drive team to deliver measurable results.:Interact with senior managers and executives internally and externally to foster strong, long:term relationships and to identify commercial solutions. : Direct responsibility for all gas midstream commitments and long:term downstream gas pipeline commitments in conjunction with the Gas/LNG Marketing team Job Requirements: :A minimum of 10+ years of natural gas experience in midstream and marketing : A demonstrated leader of a midstream and/or marketing team with multiple years of supervisory experience:Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to interact externally with diverse counterparts and internally with executive leadership at Marathon. Must have a thorough understanding of counterpart drivers.:A team player who is known as a strategic thinker and "business partner" who has effectively leveraged information for a competitive advantage.:Strong and established relationships at the senior level in the gas marketing and midstream sector. :A demonstrated understanding of natural gas midstream dynamics and natural gas market dynamics and pricing: Knowledge of third:party markets and the ability to identify, understand and leverage information and data about the markets.:Successful experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
