Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st Shift, working Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm. This company is installing new equipment and doing new capital upgrades into their facility and are seeking a strong technician to ensure the viability of the equipment. The Maintenance Technician position requires that he/she be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace. The individual will be required to maintain facility and equipment to accommodate efficient and safe operations and all associated process equipment including: welder, vacuum pumps, feed lines, chilled water systems, etc. Act as front-line leader for technical knowledge on highly complex equipment problems. Candidates with experience in Plastics Manufacturing & knowledge of injection molding, or extrusion processes preferredInterested Candidates should contact Lee Douglas 610 639-XXXX or email a current resume to LDouglas judge.comThis job will have the following responsibilities: Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements of all equipment. Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devises, correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity/quality standards. Control downtime by communicating with all departments. Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and proceduresSupport with various facility maintenance as assigned. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or Associates / Bachelors' degree a plus Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience - Experience in an injection mold or extrusion facility preferredAbility to read, comprehend, and complete blueprints, electrical schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, work orders, and parts requests. Knowledge of measuring equipment including standard and metric tape measure, micrometer, caliper, Fluke, scales, and VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter)Advance knowledge of machine operations and mechanical functions. Ability to disassemble, repair, and troubleshoot plant machinery.
